Bill Allen
The managing partner of the Allen Law firm has been practicing personal injury law in North Central Florida for
18 years. Bill Allen graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law after playing college
football for the University of Florida Gators in Gainesville. Bill uses the experiences learned in athletics -
competitiveness and an aggressive, disciplined approach - to take the fight to defense attorneys and insurance companies.
At the Allen Law Firm Bill utilizes his experiences and training to even the playing field for their clients.
Bill earned a football scholarship to the University of Florida and graduated with High Honors in 1983 while also
lettering for the Gator football team. During the next six years, Bill earned a Masters in Business Administration (MBA)
while working in family owned business. In 1989, Bill returned to the University of Florida College of Law
where he was a member of the Trial Competition Team and received his Juris Doctorate with Honors in 1992.
Prior to starting Allen Law Firm, Bill worked with Gainesville Injury Lawyers practicing and litigation exclusively in the
area of personal injury and wrongful death. During the past 15 years as a Gainesville Injury Lawyer, he has handled over 5,000 personal injury cases
totaling settlements in excess of $90 million. His prior legal experience includes personal injury, corporate and
employment law as well as insurance defense work with firms in Jacksonville and Gainesville.
Bill is a member of the following associations and academies:
• Florida Justice Associates (formerly the Academy of Trial Lawyers)
• The American Justice Association (formerly American Trial Lawyers Association)
• The American Bar Association
• The Eight Judicial Circuit Bar Association
• Admitted to practice in all state courts and federal courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern
Districts of Florida.
